JD-Contractor A/S has two large treatment and decompression chambers designed to meet harsh offshore conditions. One is containerised with air tanks and compressor. The other is mounted inside DSV - C/S Cable One.
CAD1: Weight approx. 8000 tons
Containerised Decompression and Hyperbaric Treatment Chamber for the decompression or therapeutic treatment of divers. Build into a standard 20’ corrugated steel container, it is divided into main and ante chambers, “lock in / lock out” of a diver, medic or doctor is possible.
CAD1 are equipped with:
• Smoke diving and Fire fighting equipment
• Medicine and first aid suitcase
• Both the container and the chamber are equipped with a heating systems
• Control panel prepared for Mix-Gas treatment and decompression (Heliox, Nitrox and Oxygen)
• Valves, gauges, flow meters, switches as well as communications are located in the control panel
• Video monitoring of main chamber and entry lock
The main chamber is equipped with:
• CO2 scrubber (Carbon dioxide cleaner)
• Two oxygen masks
• Two seats and a bench
• Medical lock
• Inside depth gauge, thermometer, radio and emergency communication
Entry lock is equipped with:
• Toilet and sink
• Two oxygen masks
• One seat
• Inside depth gauge, thermometer, radio and emergency communication
CAD2: Weight approx. 6 tons
Supply container for CAD1.
CAD2 is equipped with:
• Two compressors (Bauer)
• 24 x 50 Litres at 200 bar = 120.000 litres of Ordinary air (air cylinders)
• 2 x 50 Litres of Oxygen (oxygen cylinders)(the system are prepared for Heliox, Nitrox and Oxygen)
• Teledyne analyser (oxygen analyser)
